What will keep you warm on a rainy day? “Volgograd. The city of war vibes”

Feeling cold, damp and miserable? Your mood will brighten after half an hour in the well-lit and spacious Volgograd Regional Children Art Gallery which is currently hosting the exhibition with the best works of the International Art Competition "Volgograd. The city of war vibes"

Timed to coincide with the Day of the City, the competition was dedicated to Volgograd and its sister-cities, and was enjoying an immense popularity! Over 500 young participants from all corners of the world were ready to show in their works:

- famous people of their countries,

- their countries' traditions,

- the most beautiful places in their cities,

- their dreams,

- their skills and knowledge.

Would you like to see the "Sunset over the Coventry Cathedral"? And what about "The most beautiful places" of the Bulgarian Ruse? Or, maybe, you would rather see the " Cloth tiger – traditional Chinese handicraft"? Or the "Beautiful Huadan" from Beijing opera?

Three Volgograd's Chinese sister-cities supplied over 100 drawings for the competition, and Jilin High School 2 in particular asked for several paintings to be given as gifts to their Volgograd partners: School No. 54 of the Soviet district. Its photogenic students and teacher became the exposition's guests of honor and went home with a parcel full of colorful pictures from their Chinese friends.

Volgograd administration offers sincerest congratulations to the competition's participants and words of gratitude – to the organizers.
