The Forum's program featured a panel discussion "Intermunicipal organizations and city diplomacy today" (on October 31, co-organized by the International Association "Eurasia Regional Section of the World Organization "United Cities and Local Governments") and two round tables: "Partnership between Russian and Chinese higher educational institutions: new challenges and perspectives" (on November 1, co-organized by Volgograd State Social and Pedagogical University (VSSPU), and Volgograd administration) and "International cooperation perspectives in the Eurasian space" (on November 1, co-organized by the International Association "Eurasia Regional Section of the World Organization "United Cities and Local Governments").

Among the Forum's experts, there were city and local government officials, members and leaders of public organizations, educational professionals from Russia, China, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. All over, the event united 47 experts.

Within the frame of the Forum, its participants shared their experience of international cooperation between city-owned organizations, cities themselves, educational and public organizations – especially under the changing circumstances, – cemented the already existing links and established new contacts.

Among the Forum's results, there was a preliminary agreement to sign a memorandum on cooperation between Volgograd State Social and Pedagogical University and Qujing Normal University (China).

All the Forum's events were held online by means of Zoom, and a live broadcast was organized on YouTube.
