ROBOT

Hello. My name is Ivan Koblikov.

I am a student of the 5^th grade of Gymnasium No 3. I am from Volgograd, Russia.

My friend Nikita and I are engaged in carpentry in the creative studio "Creators of Volgograd". We are learning to work with wood. I have already made a flower basket, a pencil case, a keykeeper, an airplane, a helicopter and a sword. And today I want to show how I made a robot toy out of wood.

Tools are needed for work: a screwdriver, a clamp, a hacksaw, scissors, a cord, sandpaper and a wooden block for small parts and two larger cubes for the body and head of the robot

In order for the craft to be smooth, it must be sanded. These will be the head and legs of the robot.

Then we make blanks for hands and feet, sawing them off from a wooden bar. And we polish them again.

The cubes are ready; they are the basis for the robot. But in order to connect them, you need to outline and drill holes. We drill holes. And remember about safety!

The elements for assembling the structure are ready. To assemble the robot, we will need: scissors, rope, a wooden spoke.

We measure and cut the cord. Using a wooden spoke, we thread the cord into the holes and tie knots at the ends, assemble the robot.

Burning on wood, we draw the robot's face.

You can cover the robot with stain. But I like the natural color of the tree more.
