Prior to this, for five months straight, starting in November last year, students of Volgograd schools had been listening to video lectures delivered by the experts from the Space Camp in Izmir, our Turkish sister-city. Afterwards, they moved on to present their own research projects on many topics dedicated to the outer space – which they did completely in the English language.

The "Future Explorers Summit" is a city-wide English language competition held annually in Volgograd on the platform of Gymnasium No. 3 of the Central District of Volgograd. More than 40 children from 6 Volgograd schools took part in the competition this year. Only the most persistent reached its final stage: the representatives of Gymnasium No. 3, School No. 81 and the Cadet Corps.
