From the Chinese side, the speaker was Deputy Mayor of Qujing Mr. Pu Lifen. From the Russian side – Deputy Mayor of Volgograd Mr. Andrey Liakh and Director of the Center of External Economic Relations at Volgograd Chamber of Trade and Commerce Ms. Tatiana Konnova.

Volgograd representative described Volgograd's cultural and educational institutions, key landmarks, natural and cultural diversity, the honorary title of the "Capital of Children Tourism", as well as several international projects including those with Chinese partners.

Tatiana Konnova spoke about the economic potential of the Volgograd region, its industries and the experience of cooperation with Chinese entrepreneurs.

Judging by the initial feedback, the areas of the biggest mutual interest are expected to be tourism, educational exchanges, ecological initiatives and contacts between enterprises.
