It will be both a digital model and a woven cloth. Adorned at the edges with children's drawings and on the inside – with the photos and pictures featuring both sister-cities, the Tablecloth will also use QR-codes leading to the Internet pages with more information about the pictures themselves, their authors and what served as their inspiration.

How is the project going then? To speak about it, the managing team – the "Lidery Peremen" Autonomous Non-Profit Organization and the "Twin Studios Project" Art Group – gathered on a videoconference on December 15. And so…

328 people took part in the artistic competitions held on the first stage of the project.

Together, they submitted to the contests 104 drawings, 390 photos and 229 pictures!

The best works from among them will be depicted on the Tablecloth and displayed on the project's website, as well as printed on the promotional materials and ciphered by the QR-codes.

However, this is not to say that the interaction between the project participants will end when the winners are announced.

In the first half of 2022, they will meet on a series of videoconferences: artists, photographers, students, children and their families, residents of the sister-cities, and compatriots abroad… These new meetings may as well become a start for new projects and suggestions for them.

The Tablecloth is expected to be ready and presented to a wide audience already in April-May 2022 – in Maksim Gorky Regional Library and the "Stalingrad Battle" panorama museum.
