Online concert dedicated to the Day of People's Unity

The "Ostrava Russian House" and the "Czech-Russian Society" public organization have prepared a wonderful gift to all lovers of Russian music.

Performances for the concert in question had been recorded by Czech and Russian professional and amateur musicians from Ostrava, Prague, Brno and Frýdek-Místek, already familiar to Volgograd residents after the former events.

"We see this holiday as a celebration of the unity between different nations, the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation included," remarks the incumbent Chair of the Ostrava Russian House Ms. Anna Stukhlikova.

"We wish you lots of health, success and, of course, look forward to seeing you all soon!" say the Chair of the "Czech-Russian Society" Dr. Karel Šestak and his spouse Ms. Tamara Galynina, who, as we remember, had grown up in our city.

Following the tradition, the concert opened with a performance by the Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Mr. Aleš Zedník with the song "Cranes".

String and piano pieces respectively were recorded by Larisa Adamov and Vojtěch Antoš.

Several brilliant songs were performed by an opera theater soloist Sergei Zubkevič, a poet and musician Aleksey Kudriavtsev and a virtuoso bard singer Igor Jelínek – who, together with Stanislav Marinčenko recorded and edited two of their duets fully online.

Liya Ermiyaeva recorded her contribution in Prague: her music video to the background of the Czech capital was made to the song dedicated to her mother Lana Ermiyaeva, one of well-known Volgograd public figures.

We, Volgograd listeners, too, are sending our heartfelt congratulations to Czech friends and colleagues and wish them all the best: luck, excellent atmosphere outside and warm ambience at home, and most of all – health!
