​The key theme of the event was "Twinning as an important potential for the cementing of the Union State of Russia and Belarus and the unity of their nations".

A welcoming video message for its participants, who represented 50 cities, was recorded by the Head of the hosting state Mr. Alexander Lukashenko himself.

The Meeting was split into three sections:
- "Economy and business",
- "Social sphere: interaction in the development of infrastructure",
- "Culture and education: twining as a platform for improving municipal programs for youngsters."

Volgograd representative took part in the third section, where he shared our city's experience in organizing international youth events during the pandemic.
