Volgograd and Chengdu: Nostalgia Tourist. Baku Park
This September, Volgograd and Chengdu students have prepared a whole series of colorful and informative videos about the iconic and little-known statues, buildings and touristic sites of their cities. Today, Stephania Egunova, an 8th form student of Volgograd Gymnasium No.3, is inviting you on a stroll through the "Volgograd – Baku" Friendship Park.
Tell us a little bit about yourself, please.
- I was born and grew up in Volgograd. I study in Gymnasium No.3. I like the English language and field athletics. This May, I graduated from a music school.
Why did you choose this particular place for the video?
- I chose this topic because Volgograd has about 25 sister-cities, with a unique and interesting history behind each of them. And it was the history of Azerbaijan and Coventry that fascinated me most.
If you found yourself in Chengdu for a whole day, what would you like to see and do?
- I would visit the Huanglong National Park and the Wildlife Conservation and Research Center for Giant Pandas.
