Volgograd and Chengdu: Nostalgia Tourist. Fire Observation Tower
This September, Volgograd and Chengdu students have prepared a whole series of colorful and informative videos about the iconic and little-known statues, buildings and touristic sites of their cities. Today, meet Tatiana Tarasova from Volgograd Gymnasium No. 3, with her video about the iconic Fire Observation Tower.
Tell us a little bit about yourself, please.
- I was born in Volgograd and spent all my life here. Since childhood, my biggest passion is gymnastics. I spend a lot of time training, but it does not interfere with my studies in Gymnasium. I love self-improvement and discovering new knowledge.
Why did you choose this particular spot for the video?
- I wanted to tell you about the ancient fire station and fire observation tower, because their beauty is something mesmerizing to me.
If you found yourself in Chengdu for a whole day, what would you like to see and do?
- If I ever go to Chengdu, I would like to use this opportunity to go through Beijing and see Beijng National Library.
