Nostalgia Tourist 2: Volgograd and Chengdu. Panorama museum
This September, Volgograd and Chengdu students are determined to demonstrate that not only their schools, but also our cities are much closer than we used to think. They have prepared a whole series of colorful and informative videos about the iconic and little known statues, buildings and touristic sites of Volgograd and Chengdu.
In the first of them, Arina Deryugina (8b class, Gymnasium No.3 of the Central district of Volgograd) is inviting you on a stroll around the museum panorama "Stalingrad Battle". Let us introduce the author in a short interview:
Tell us a little bit about yourself, please.
My name is Arina Deryugina. I am a resident of the hero-city – Volgograd.
Why did you choose this particular place for the video?
This place brings back the memories from my childhood, because at that time I used to go there quite often. In addition, this place is filled with the atmosphere that I find absolutely breathtaking.
If you found yourself in Chengdu for a whole day, what would you like to see and do?
If I suddenly found myself in Chengdu, I would start by visiting the most beautiful natural areas: the Jiuzhaigou National Park, Loshan, the Emei Shan Mountain… And just generally enjoy the beauty of Chengdu.
