Dancing, photography, figure skating, drawing, basketball, volleyball, – energetic and sociable Tatiana is always in the search for something new, her most serious achievement so far being her seven years of handball.

The focus of her video is the Peace Street – one of the first streets to be restored in Stalingrad after the Great Patriotic War, the heart of the new city and the symbol of its renaissance. Apart from its history, though, the Peace Street will catch your eye with the unique architecture of the building staying on it.

What reasoning would you use to persuade your foreign friends to visit Volgograd?

Tatiana Khablova: Volgograd is a historic city that embodies the heart and the soul of the Russian people. Here you can fully feel and realize what memory means and what heroic means. Volgograd is a hero city in which the heroic deeds of the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War are cast in stone forever. Here, everything will help you understand why the history of our city and our country is so important to us. Besides, today's Volgograd is a modern and rapidly developing city. Here, you will be able to take a walk along the renovated embankment, visit art galleries and theaters. Our city holds the key to every heart!

If you had one day to yourself in a completely unknown city, where would you go or what would you do first?

Tatiana Khablova: First of all, I would try to get acquainted with the local people and, possibly, make a new friend. With this person together, we would go on a tour of each and every street! We could also take a tram or a bus and observe the city through its windows. And we would definitely walk through a market place or a local fair to taste some local food. I would try to see and experience everything that there is, and having just one day of time is not a problem for me!
