For example, on the 70^th anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Stalingrad, they prepared a thematic exhibition "Volgograd in Ostrava", which was demonstrated in the House of Culture and Ostrava schools.

More than twenty times, the Czech-Russian Society in Ostrava led to the sister-city of Volgograd tourist groups from all over the Czech Republic.

For many years, the Czech-Russian Society in Ostrava has been participating in the organization of the Days of Russia in their city, being responsible for the cultural component of this economic forum organized by the Honorary Consulate of the Russian Federation in Ostrava.

Even in these difficult times, the Ostrava Russian House and the Czech-Russian Society are looking forward to new meetings with their Russian friends, as according to this their message for the residents of Volgograd:

"Dear Volgograd residents, we assure you that friendship between our cities is alive and will survive regardless of whether it is documented on the official level or not. The message of this friendship, which we preserved intact in our souls and hearts, will be passed on to the future generations, our children, our grandchildren, to anyone who is willing to listen. Its foundation is the historical truth, our good will, the rejection of hatred, the resistance to betrayal.
