Yet another round table held on October 30 was co-organized by the Eurasia section of the "United Cities and Local Governments" World Organization and moderated by its Secretary General – Mr. Rasikh Sagitov.

It was his report that opened the first thematic part of the event – "Role of the organizations for intercity cooperation in the sustainment of international contacts in today's world". The topic was further elaborated upon by the next speaker, who represented the Africa section of the "United Cities and Local Governments" – Mr. Mustapha Moufid (Morocco).

The second part of the event ("Development of intercity relations on the international level during the pandemic: best practices") united speakers from Izmir and Konya (Republic of Turkey), Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Tolyatti (Russian Federation), Bukhara (Republic of Uzbekistan), Coventry (United Kingdom), Bishkek and Osh (Kyrgyz Republic), Ruse (Republic of Bulgaria) and Xi'an (People's Republic of China).

All of them described the ways their municipalities were jointly combatting the everyday issues and extraordinary situations, especially during the pandemic.
